In my youth I was helped by a diary and writing poems, I poured my pain and melancholy into poems and even tried to write some prose. With depression and grief helps to cope with studies. you can advise a person to download themselves without any rest by studying, but at the same time to work, and manage to do assignments, while not sleeping very much, and the longing and pain will recede into the background (checked by themselves). of course the stories of people who have gone through the crucible of yearning and despair and have coped with themselves, a lot.
I personally try, not tired, to notice the beauty of the surrounding world, so I always look at the clouds, the sun, beautiful people, etc ...
And even with grief helps to cope with simple physical work, reading books. The main thing is not to leave yourself alone with grief, and, of course, many people need to speak out elementary ... find a vest to cry. And someone should just go to church ...
